Job Description
The RBC Dominion Securities Management team is looking for a Branch Operations Manager! The Branch Operations Manager fulfils a leadership role in the branch by providing operational and administrative support to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams. In addition to managing client account activities and ensuring compliance standards are met, the Branch Operations Manager fulfils a diverse role which includes liaising with internal departments, providing software and process-related training, and managing the branch facilities and equipment.
What will you do?
Directs the activities of a group of insurance agents to achieve goals for specified products, markets or territories. Manager with HR responsibility. Typically manages and oversees supervisors and/or hourly/professional jobs and responsible for setting the overall direction for employees.
- Setting strategies and directions for insurance unit, and translating these strategies into goals for individual agent.
- Monitoring the full range of the insurance company's products and strategies, as well as those of competitors and general industry trends.
- Assuring that insurance unit's strategies, processes, methods and priorities are consistent with those of the organization.
- Providing guidance and coaching for agents; actively assisting with large or complex deals.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment
- Ability to complete duties independently seeking out own answers and solutions
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset
- Experience in the securities industry is an asset

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
