Client Support Representative - Career Path to Insurance Advisor (12-Month Contract)

Piquette Insurance Services is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Client Support Representative for a 12-month maternity leave contract.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the insurance industry. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside licensed advisors while learning the fundamentals of client service, insurance operations, and relationship management. For motivated individuals interested in obtaining their General Insurance License, this position can provide valuable industry experience and a potential pathway into an insurance sales and advisory role in the future with our agency.

The opportunity:

The Client Support role provides clerical and administrative support to the agency including greeting clients, booking appointments, accepting payments, answering and placing phone calls. Use existing systems to complete daily work activities as required and provide support to agency staff within the office environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and direct them to the appropriate agency team member
• Act as the primary telephone contact by answering, redirecting, and managing incoming calls and voicemail
• Obtain, verify, and accurately record client information
• Monitor incoming emails and daily work queues, distributing and prioritizing tasks as required
• Proactively contact clients for follow-ups and schedule appointments and insurance reviews
• Accept, process, and reconcile client payments
• Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying, mail distribution, courier coordination, and office supply management
• Support advisors and agency staff with day-to-day administrative activities
• Maintain accurate records and ensure client information is handled confidentially

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
