Full job description

The Sales Associate/AGM plays a vital role in supporting the growth of KidStrong Centres by driving member engagement, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to community outreach efforts. This position is responsible for helping meet membership goals, ensuring a positive onboarding experience for new families, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and current members. This role offers a competitive wage, plus performance-based bonuses tied to membership sales and centre growth objectives.

A successful Sales Associate/AGM will have a passion for the KidStrong brand and mission, a strong sense of initiative, and a drive to help families begin their KidStrong journey. This role requires flexibility, dedication to lead follow-up, and comfort with engaging with families during peak hours — including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to follow up with inbound leads and inquiries
  • Provide outstanding customer service during tours, trials, and new member onboarding
  • Support the scheduling of centre walk-throughs and trial classes
  • Accurately maintain and update lead and sales tracking systems
  • Assist with membership enrollment and ensure smooth transitions into programs
  • Attend community events and assist with brand awareness initiatives
  • Help execute local outreach strategies, including daycare visits, school pop-ups, and community fairs
  • Support day-to-day center operations including sales support, events, and member relations
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
  • Maintain a positive, energetic presence that reflects KidStrong’s mission and values

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using POS systems, KPI's, handling payments, and tracking transactions
  • Highly organized and able to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including four weekdays and one weekend day each week
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with family-focused programs, merchandising, or technology sales is an asset

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
