Montana's is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of food safety standards, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Whether you're just starting your culinary career or bringing previous kitchen experience, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the food industry.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Cook menu items with consistency and attention to quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure timely service
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety
  • Stock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations (food safety certification is a plus)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
