Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food service, eager to contribute to a positive dining experience.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
  • Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
  • Experience in food industry roles such as serving, food preparation, or hospitality is advantageous
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
