Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, specifically focusing on fried dishes, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering excellent service and meal preparation to our valued guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook fried foods according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including fry stations
  • Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Serve food promptly and courteously to customers or servers
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially in a restaurant or kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
