Salary: $55,000 to $59,000
Reporting to: Front Office Manager

What You Bring to the Team:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills to drive guest satisfaction scores (GSS) and associate engagement
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on service recovery and guest satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingattention to detail
• Proficiencyin hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications
• A degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of front office or guest service experience.

In This Role, You Will:

• Assistin supervising the front desk function; ensure staff isproperly trainedincluding service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management and reservations systems, safety, and emergency procedures, etc.
• Assistsin scheduling staff according to labour standards and forecasts occupancy; assigns daily work tasks to employees, and monitors labour costs to stay within departmental budget.
• Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action. Alert management of potentially serious issues.
• Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions per established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier or other reports, preparing deposits, and counting/securing assigned bank.
• Ensures adherence to procedures for hotel accounting, credit control, handling of financial transactions, securities of monies, guest security and emergency procedures asestablished.
• Routinely check in/check out guests, answer phones, take reservations andassiststaff with job functions. Maybe responsible forissuing safe deposit boxes to guests and ensuring the security of keys.
