We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Atlantic Indian Bistro, a vibrant Indian restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and warm atmosphere. The Kitchen Helper will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Stock and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Help with washing dishes and maintaining a tidy kitchen environment.
• Support the cooking staff during busy hours by providing additional assistance.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen staff or management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
