Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Organize and restock kitchen supplies to ensure efficiency during service hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes during peak service times.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
• Assist in any food prep required

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and support for cooks.
