Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team during the summer months. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
  • Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally

Skills

  • Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations
  • Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; kitchen experience is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and transactions
  • Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
