Bartender

Position Summary

As a Bartender, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to guests while preparing high-quality beverages with consistency and efficiency. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and supporting both the bar and dining room teams during service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Deliver friendly, engaging, and professional service to every guest.
• Recommend cocktails, wine, beer, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
• Support servers by preparing drinks promptly during busy service periods.
• Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to provide seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Smart Serve (or provincial responsible beverage certification) is considered an asset.
