Overview

Kitchen Staff prepare food and support smooth, attentive service in a restaurant or other food-service setting. The role combines hands-on kitchen work with serving, helping maintain an organized workspace and a positive experience for customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals and ingredients by cooking, measuring, assembling, and presenting items according to established instructions.
  • Handle food carefully, follow food safety practices, and keep preparation and service areas clean and orderly.
  • Assist with serving food, restocking supplies, and coordinating tasks with kitchen and service colleagues during busy periods.
  • Your impact: Timely meal preparation and dependable service help colleagues keep orders moving and customers enjoy their meals.

Skills

Required: Practical food preparation, food handling, cooking, and serving capabilities support safe, accurate work across kitchen and service tasks. Attention to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork helps maintain a reliable flow of service. Preferred: Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, food service experience, or familiarity with the food industry can help you adapt quickly and contribute confidently. Familiarity with food safety practices is an advantage.

Pay: $15.90-$16.10 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
