Job Overview
We are located at 494 Arbutus Drive, Mayne Island in the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and managing transactions efficiently. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
  • Handle cash and credit card payments while ensuring accuracy in cashiering duties.
  • Help with food preparation and ensure all items are properly sanitized before serving.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen to meet health standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively.
