  • This is a hard question to answer, it really depends on the position. Each person plays a unique role in supporting PARC’s operation and mission. One thing I’ve heard from new employees, across many positions, is that remembering resident names can be challenging at first. If you are an employee and are facing challenges in the workplace, we’d encourage you to share those challenges with your manager. We’re here to help.

  • It’s important for all of us to get rest breaks from work. At PARC, vacation entitlement depends on employment status, position and length of service. New hourly employees receive 4% vacation on each hour they work and this increases over years of service. After your first year of employment with PARC we also provide you with a day off on your birthday as a thank you. Thereafter, you are given an additional vacation day each year, to a maximum of 20 vacation days per calendar year.
