Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods
  • Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed
  • Demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking techniques for various dishes
  • Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality meal preparation

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
  • Dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is preferred
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Experience in fine dining settings is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus
