This job requires being available to work over supper time and in the evenings, and requires being available to work on the weekends. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our fast-paced restaurant environment, responsible for preparing delicious food, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and safe dining experience. Duties

• Prepare food items according to company recipes and standards, maintaining quality and consistency
• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures and ensure accurate change is given
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion and service delivery

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on professionalism and friendliness
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours
• Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
