We are seeking a full-time Pro Shop Sales Associate at our downtown location. As a Pro Shop Sales Associate, you will be the face of our retail operations, ensuring every visitor receives personalized attention and expert product knowledge. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members, guests, and employees while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, including merchandising, shop maintenance, and ongoing inventory management. Our specialties include Tennis, Squash & Badminton racquets and accessories, fitness & swimwear apparel, fitness & swimwear accessories, athletic footwear, exclusive ladies, men’s, and children’s fashions. If you enjoy working in a customer-focused setting and have a knack for sales, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service on the sales floor to members, guests, and employees, always engaging in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs
- Assist with merchandising, promotional displays and ensure store is tidy and maintained
- Assist with inventory management, ensure correct tagging of merchandise prior to displaying on the sales floor
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete tasks, meet goals and enhance overall customer experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in retail, sales, or recreation is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ retail or customer service experience preferred
- Proven experience with cash handling, opening/closing procedures and operating POS systems
- Strong knowledge of merchandising and promotional displays in a retail environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Racquet stringing experience would be an asset or training will be supplied
- Knowledge of sporting goods would be considered an asset

Additional Details:
This is a full-time position reporting to the Pro Shop Manager. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts including day shifts, weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required.
Pro Shop Store Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays 10am to 6pm.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as a Respect in the Workplace certificate prior to commencing employment.
