Full job description

Job Summary
As a Server/Cashier, you’ll welcome guests, take orders, serve food, and process payments in a friendly, efficient manner. Requirement to have some kitchen abilities.

Slow times you will be required to make appetizers and other server duties in the kitchen.

Duties

  • Greet guests, answer questions about menu items, take orders, and provide attentive serving and guest services.
  • Use POS or Micros POS systems to enter orders, handle cash and other payments, and complete cashiering accurately.
  • Support food preparation and handling, follow food safety and sanitation practices, and keep service and kitchen areas clean.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods and suggest relevant menu items through courteous upselling.

Required: Clear communication, customer service, basic math, cash handling, time management, and careful attention to food handling, food safety, and sanitation are practical capabilities for serving guests and processing orders accurately. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, kitchen, or hospitality experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS, food preparation, serving, guest services, and upselling can help you contribute confidently to a coordinated team.

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week

Work Location: In person
