Full job description

As a Pizza Hut Shift Supervisor, overseeing the restaurant during your shift, ensuring good customer service, and supporting the team.

Customer Service

  • Welcome and assist customers.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise team members during the shift.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance.
  • Train and coach new employees.
  • Motivate the team to meet service standards.

Operations

  • Open or close the restaurant according to procedures.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to Pizza Hut standards.
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness.
  • Maintain health and food safety standards.

Cash Handling

  • Operate and supervise cash registers.
  • Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Handle refunds and resolve payment issues.

Inventory

  • Monitor stock levels.
  • Receive and organize deliveries.
  • Report shortages and help reduce food waste.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure staff follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Keep the restaurant clean and organized.
  • Report equipment issues or safety hazards.

Performance

  • Help achieve sales and labor targets.
  • Monitor speed of service.
  • Complete shift reports and communicate with the restaurant manager.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tofield, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
