Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in restaurant operations and working cooperatively within a team.. As a baker/line cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes and adhering to our recipe guidelines, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Proficiency in baking – ability to prepare cakes and other baked goods following established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Sandwich preparation skills – ability to prepare a range of sandwiches according to SOPs.
  • Salads and sauces preparation – skilled in making different salads and dressings, following SOPs.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food service and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and creativity.

Experience

  • At least 1 years experience in similar position within the food industry.
  • At least 1 years experience in pastry and/or baking.
  • Knowledge of pastry and desserts – capable of preparing a variety of sweets and desserts, following SOPs.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is essential for success in this role.
