Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef / Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The position requires a commitment to food preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space. The Candidate we hire could be used to execute off site seasonal projects as well as supporting our main brick and mortar space in downtown Moncton

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Manage food preparation tasks efficiently during service hours
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated regularly
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or service staff
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service excellence
  • Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting will be considered a plus
  • VALID DRIVER LICENSE & CAR MANDATORY

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
