Great Wolf Lodge, Niagara Falls is Canada’s largest family indoor water park resort. Our little log cabin has theme suites, amazing attractions, fun daily events and activities, and delicious dining options. It’s a year-round world of play!

The Restaurant Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front-of-house food and beverage services to ensure a smooth and successful guest experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team
  • Willingness to accept the most effective role.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage management on scheduling and daily front-of-house operations.
  • Provide administrative support for the Food & Beverage department.
  • Maintain open communication with kitchen staff to ensure service coordination.
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, recognition, and performance management of Pack Members.
  • Set and maintain department standards focused on service excellence and teamwork.
  • Close with an open mentality.
  • Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.

Guest
  • Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
  • Demonstrate positive drive, accountability, and progressive leadership.
  • Foster a dynamic service culture that creates memorable guest experiences.
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional service and follow through on reasonable requests.
  • Maintain a visible floor presence to engage with guests and gather feedback on service, food quality, and overall experience.
  • Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Financial
  • Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Support operational goals by contributing to strategic planning, resolving issues, and maintaining productivity, quality, and service standards.
  • Drive sales by identifying and fulfilling current and future guest needs.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
  • Monitor and adjust labor in real time based on occupancy, in coordination with the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications & Traits
  • Present a polished, professional image that builds confidence and trust.
  • Approach tasks with thorough analysis, planning, and execution.
  • Inspire others with enthusiasm, positivity, and energy.
  • Effectively resolve conflicts between groups with differing priorities or perspectives.
  • Show persistence by overcoming obstacles and continuously striving to improve.
  • Certified in Smart Serve and Food Handling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the Squirrel POS system.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends through ongoing learning and development.

Physical Requirements
  • Capable of walking, standing, sitting, crawling, bending, twisting, reaching up to and including above shoulder level, crouching/squatting, and kneeling, for the duration of your shift.
  • Capable of climbing multiple flights of stairs. Dexterity of the fingers and hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
  • Ability to do weight bearing tasks with arms, ex. lifting/using heavy pans, baking sheets, food pans etc.
  • Ability to work for extended periods in varying temperature ranges.
  • Ability to work in coolers or freezers for short periods of time.
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks for an extended period of time.
  • Visual acuity to see colour, near vision ability, tactile, smell and tasting abilities.
  • Capable of working in a loud environment.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 80lbs.
  • Ability to lift 15lbs overhead.

Additional Requirements

Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
