Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and inspire your team to achieve culinary excellence.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes that meet restaurant standards
  • Develop and update menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques and customer preferences
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimize kitchen operations
  • Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
  • Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations

  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is essential
