Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen staff in various tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of food items.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
  • Support the team during meal service by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
