Main Responsibilities

· Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily assembly operations to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments

· Ensure all work orders are fulfilled as detailed, labor and materials are properly assigned, and completion records are recorded in ERP.

· Attend daily production meetings for communication and collaboration with the team

· Lead in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment throughout the department

· Constantly monitoring line flow, immediately addressing bottlenecks and balancing labor needs

· Lead, coach and mentor all employees, new and tenured, in achieving all targets daily

· Assure all builds meet the HABCO quality standards, supporting in-process inspections procedures, non-conformances and root cause analysis for continuous improvement

· Conduct daily huddles to discuss topics of health & safety, quality, production and celebrations

· Support and execute to the company ISO 9001:215 Quality Management Systems

· Active promoter of Kaizen, Lean and other continuous improvement initiatives

· Collaborate with all departments in support of overall company goals and objectives

· With Production Manager, establish, track, review and communicate all departmental KPI’s and metrics

· Maintain attendance, training and personnel reviews for your department.

· Bring a ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach in mentoring and developing. Encouraging a bottom-up management approach where every individual has a voice in the team’s overall growth.

· Other duties assigned pertaining to the success of the company’s operations.

Requirements

· Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment (preferably in refrigeration, HVAC, or appliance manufacturing).

· Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and QMS structure an asset

· Strong understanding of production planning, staging and executing

· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen

· Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, production reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· A demonstrated ability to drive change through continuous improvement

· Understanding of refrigeration cycle and assembly considered an asset

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
