Line Cook / Kitchen Helper

Tequila Cantina – North Vancouver, BC

Tequila Cantina is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook / Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to assist with all kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking
  • Work on the kitchen line during service
  • Prepare ingredients according to restaurant standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist other kitchen team members as required
  • Complete opening and closing kitchen duties

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience in a Mexican restaurant is required.
  • Knowledge of Mexican food preparation and ingredients is an asset
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies
