Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Full-Time Barista/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and managing cashier duties in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food, possess excellent time management skills, and have experience in the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to a welcoming customer experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
  • Manage cashier responsibilities such as processing payments, giving change, and issuing receipts
  • Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and dining spaces
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food responsibly
  • Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their overall experience

Experience

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar food service role is preferred, especially with barista experience and serving skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic math for cash handling is required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in the food industry demonstrating good time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
