Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager/Front of House Manager

Purpose of Job

In the role of FOH SUPERVISOR, reporting to the FOH Manager and F&B manager, you will provide an exceptional customer service that our Guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team leader combined with your service and supervisory skills and your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience. Primary Responsibilities

  • To supervise and assist with training of a strong FOH team.
  • Assisting in doing weekly orders as needed to maintain supply of liquor
  • Assist in upholding policies and procedures
  • Training staff on POS system (Pixel Point)
  • Inventory controls of restaurant, bar, beer cart and 10th Tee
  • Ability to take orders for the guests.
  • To ensure that all morning and closing duties are done by staff.
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Ability to make & serve cocktails as per the present standards and have full knowledge of Food and Beverage Menu
  • Ensuring the restaurant and all outlets are clean & tidy at all times.
  • Making sure inventories are up to date.
  • Clearing tables and providing quality service to our guests
  • Responsible to ensure all our guests leave with a positive dining experience
  • Be aware of all Restaurant Environment and Health & Safety Procedures including Emergency Evacuation
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Developing & cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests & colleagues alike)
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed by the FOH Manager and/or Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Assist with disciplinary action reports with FOH staff

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant, Hotel or conference centre is required.
  • Knowledge of wines, beers and liquor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Should possess professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and be a good team player.
  • Ability to give written and vocal instructions to the colleagues.
  • Must have Pro Serve Certificate
  • Pixel Point experience an asset

Working Conditions

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Must have employment eligibility in Canada
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation
