Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong commitment to food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and plating dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring efficient service during busy hours. The right candidate must be available evenings and weekends, this position is for part or full time. Once trained line cooks also receive kitchen tip-out which is paid out every two weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold health standards
  • Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service principles
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
