Bell 2 Lodge/Last Frontier Heliskiing Ltd. is seeking to fill the year around Breakfast Cook /Line Cook position with an immediate start date.

Extensive brunch venue experience and great flavor profile required.

Reporting to the Chef, tasks are but not limited to:

• Menu planning in collaboration with Chef
• Executing the Breakfast buffet, Cafe Menu, Dinner service, Staff meal
• Menu execution includes take out meal plan, making lots of sandwiches, soup and baked goods for the cafe.
• Ability to accommodate all types of dietary restrictions
• Dishwashing & kitchen cleaning
• Reception and organization of food delivery

Preferred Skills and Core Competencies:

• Must have early morning personality.
• Must have 2 years experience in a kitchen.
• Must have Food Safe
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management and co-workers.
• A friendly personality with a genuine desire to help and please others.
• Ability to do some heavy lifting.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good understanding of food cost
• A professional manner and a positive approach to hectic situations.
• Must have current work visa or be a Canadian permanent resident.

This year around position operates in 2 distinctive set up: summer road guest/contractors, then winter Heliskiing season.

Shifts are three weeks on and one week off working ten hour days.

Transfers to and from Terrace on weeks out are available.

Accommodation and meals are provided for all employees while on rotation.

Partial flight coverage from the company starts after completion of 1 summer + 1 winter with us.

In winter, perks include possible heliskiing following conditions, including being a very strong skier/snowboarder.

Please note we cannot accommodate pets.
