Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Set up dishwashing stations, including dishmachines and sinks, and maintain them throughout the shift.
• Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more frequently based on business levels, using chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.
• Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift to ensure a safe working environment.
• Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling, keeping the kitchen area free of clutter and debris.
• Monitor and manage dishwashing supplies, such as detergents and sanitizers, and notify management when stock is low.
• Support kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed, including food prep and stocking supplies.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and dynamic team environment.
