Are you a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or experienced culinary professional who loves the foodservice industry but is ready to move beyond day-to-day kitchen operations?

We are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager – Culinary & Foodservice for a global leader in professional commercial kitchen technology.

Culinary First. Sales Second.

Professional culinary experience is mandatory. Sales can be taught.

We are looking for someone who understands commercial kitchens, can speak credibly with chefs and foodservice operators, and wants to develop into a successful territory sales professional.

This is an autonomous, field-based role covering Saskatoon and the surrounding Saskatchewan territory. Strong organization, time management and follow-up are critical.

What Does the Role Look Like?

Most days you will be in the field, typically making 5–6 customer visits per day to restaurants and other commercial foodservice operations.

You will develop relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, kitchen managers and foodservice operators, identify opportunities and invite prospective customers to Cooking Live culinary demonstrations where they can experience the technology firsthand.

Typically, one day per week will be focused on culinary demonstrations, with approximately 1–2 live cooking demonstrations per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote professional cooking technology through Cooking Live culinary demonstrations

  • Prospect, develop and grow new customers across commercial foodservice market segments

  • Build relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, kitchen managers and foodservice operators

  • Work collaboratively with inside sales and sales support teams throughout the customer journey

  • Develop relationships with commercial kitchen dealers, consultants and designers

  • Build and maintain strong dealer partnerships alongside Territory Sales Managers

  • Use a consultative sales approach, listening to customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions

  • Follow up consistently on identified sales opportunities

  • Manage territory activities, customer opportunities and pipeline through Salesforce CRM

  • Develop business and marketing plans with Sales Directors to achieve territory growth targets

  • Monitor competitive activity, market conditions and issues affecting sales

  • Participate in regional and national trade shows, dealer events and sales meetings

Who We're Looking For

  • Professional culinary experience is required

  • Background as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or similar culinary professional

  • Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations and foodservice

  • Interest in transitioning from culinary operations into a customer-facing sales career

  • Highly organized, disciplined and capable of independently managing a territory

  • Self-driven, goal-oriented and solution-focused

  • Strong listening, communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable prospecting and walking into foodservice operations to develop new relationships

  • Ability to overcome objections and resolve customer issues professionally

  • Strong follow-up and time-management skills

  • Salesforce or CRM experience is an asset

  • Previous sales experience is an asset, but not required

  • Valid driver's licence

  • Must live in Saskatoon or within reasonable commuting distance

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000–$85,000 base salary

  • $20,000 commission/bonus

  • $100,000–$105,000 target compensation

  • Company vehicle provided — fuel, insurance and maintenance included

  • Full benefits after 90 days

  • RRSP plan

If you've built your career in professional kitchens and are thinking, “I'm ready to get out of the kitchen, but I don't want to leave the culinary industry,” this is an opportunity to turn that culinary expertise into a long-term sales career.
