ABOUT US
Located in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, The Frederick is a refined take on the classic bar and grill combining bold cooking and genuine hospitality in a vibrant social atmosphere. As the relaxed sibling of The Chase restaurant, The Frederick and its dedicated team share a passion to deliver exceptional hospitality, a commitment to quality and craftsmanship while carving out its own path with an easy going energy.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Frederick is looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager with a restaurateur spirit to lead our team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is a strong people and business leader, responsible for overseeing daily operations, building strong teams, driving financial results, and maintaining a culture of hospitality excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and inspire front of house operations and management teams
- Drive guest experience, service standards, and team culture
- Manage scheduling, labour, inventory, and operational performance
- Work collaboratively with the Chef and kitchen team ensuring seamless and exceptional service
- Support financial targets through strong leadership and execution
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategy and growth
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 years experience in a General Manager role
- Experience leading successful operations in a 100+ seat restaurant environment
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to drive operational and financial performance
- Passion for hospitality, team development, and guest experience
- Experience with Toast and Open Table systems
