Overview
The Sales Director is a strategic AND hands-on execution role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales and marketing activities.

This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in food and beverage sales, account management and business development. Ideally, the ideal candidate has experience in Retail, Mass, Food Service, Co-Packing and Industrial sales segments. Branded and Private label. Experience with E-Commerce would be a bonus.

It is important to consider that the Company is a better fit with someone comfortable with entrepreneurial dynamics as opposed to a more structured and rigid corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic and hands-on execution role.
  • Lead and manage a large number of house accounts and brokers.
  • Manage a very diversified portfolio of products in different categories.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and timely follow-ups concurrently through effective prioritization and time management.
  • Develop new concepts and ideas for new product launch
  • Negotiate contracts and new pricing.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through effective account management.
  • Monitor industry trends to stay competitive in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
  • Work on profitability and other sales related analysis.
  • Manage Trade shows.
  • Participe to innovation session.
  • Filters inquiries and opportunities.
  • Performs profitability analysis.
  • Supports the commercialization process.

Requirements

  • Proven senior sales and marketing experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record.
  • Very customer-centric.
  • Strong work ethics and attention to accurate and detailed analysis and communication.
  • Experience in account management, ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively for informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with technology sales processes is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
  • Team work mentality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
