Pacini is a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen focused on delivering excellent food and exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Line Lead to help oversee daily kitchen operations, support our line cooks, and ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

Position Summary

The Kitchen Line Lead plays a vital leadership role on the cooking line, ensuring smooth operations during service. This position assists with food preparation, oversees cooking stations, and provides guidance and support to kitchen staff to maintain efficiency, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate kitchen line operations during service.
  • Ensure all menu items are prepared, cooked, and plated according to restaurant standards.
  • Train, mentor, and support line cooks and prep staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and kitchen management to ensure timely service.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and prep list organization.
  • Step in to cook on the line as needed during peak hours.
  • Support the development of new menu items and contribute to kitchen improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen experience, including 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role (preferred).
  • Strong culinary skills and familiarity with various cooking methods and stations (grill, sauté, fry, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification preferred).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
