Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves supporting meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen. Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and quality standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during all stages of food handling
  • Support kitchen staff with cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
  • Serve food efficiently to customers when required, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling best practices is advantageous
  • Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is beneficial
  • Experience working in a fast-paced setting demonstrates strong organizational skills and adaptability
  • Prior kitchen experience or background in the food industry will be considered an asset
