Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Fine Dining Server, where your passion for exceptional service and culinary excellence will shine! In this role, you will be the face of our upscale restaurant, delivering memorable dining experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in process
  • Present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling premium items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
  • Provide expert guidance on menu selections, dietary accommodations, and wine pairings to elevate the dining experience
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments with a strong background in food service and guest relations
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols within the food industry
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Strong sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or bartender is advantageous
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
