Back of House Team Members

Location: Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment Centre (3rd floor), Nisku, AB
Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available
Wage: $17–$22 per hour, based on experience
Start Date: As soon as possible

Summit Restaurant is hiring dependable, motivated people for our back-of-house team. Our kitchen serves athletes, families, tournament guests and large event crowds in a busy sports and entertainment facility.

Availability

Applicants must have open availability, including days, evenings and weekends, and be able to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
  • Keep kitchen stations clean, organized and stocked
  • Complete food prep before and during service
  • Work efficiently during tournaments and events
  • Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
  • Assist with opening, closing and general kitchen duties
  • Communicate shortages, delays and quality concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience is preferred
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Food Safety certification is an asset
  • Open availability is required
  • Reliable transportation as no public transit is available
