Full job description

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for a Casual General Service Worker position at our seniors' lodge located in Leduc, Alberta.

Reporting to the Assistant Lodge Manager, the General Service Worker is responsible for delivering a high standard of housekeeping and food services to the residents in the lodge.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Housekeeping and/or food service experience in institution/hospitality industries.

2. Formal education in the area of housekeeping and/or food service would be beneficial.

3. W.H.M.I.S. Training.

4. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal is required.

5. Strong customer service skill including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner.

6. Ability to perform work duties with a minimum of supervision.

7. Ability to work independently, as well as a team.

8. Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends).

9. Satisfactory Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.

10. Experience working with and meeting the needs of seniors.
