Full job description

About Us: Modern Menopause Clinic is a virtual healthcare provider specializing in menopause care for patients across Canada. We're committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and convenient care to women navigating this important life transition.

Who we hope to find: We're seeking a skilled and empathetic Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help expand our ability to serve women experiencing menopause. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women's health and comfortable with virtual care delivery.

In this role, you'll make an impact by:

  • Conducting expert virtual consultations for menopause assessments. Our triage system ensures you'll see appropriate cases, allowing you to focus on what you do best - providing exceptional care.
  • Delivering comprehensive follow-ups for menopause-related concerns, ensuring continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. To support you, we offer evidence-based care protocols and customizable template notes, streamlining your workflow without compromising on quality.
  • Prescribing and managing hormone replacement therapy and other treatments, staying at the forefront of menopause care.
  • Empowering patients through education on lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies, helping them take control of their menopause journey.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with our dedicated physician team. Complex cases can be easily reviewed with our on-call physicians or referred to specialists, ensuring you always have expert backup.
  • Enjoying the benefits of our state-of-the-art intake process. Patients complete comprehensive forms (eg. past medical history, screening form, etc) before their appointments, providing you with relevant information upfront. This allows you to maximize your time on what matters most - providing top-notch care and counselling.

We need someone who has:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the relevant provincial body
  • Proficiency in virtual care delivery and telemedicine platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (eg. Avaros) - or willing to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

It would also be great if you have (optional, not required):

  • Interest, specialized training or certification in menopause management
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in women's health, primary care, or a related field
  • Experience with hormone replacement therapy is an asset
  • Interest in contributing to clinic growth and service expansion

Why you should join us:

  • Opportunity to specialize in an important and often underserved area of women's health
  • Flexible work arrangements that fit your lifestyle
  • Collaborative team environment with supportive physician leadership
  • Chance to shape the future of virtual menopause care in Ontario

What we're offering:

  • Competitive rate
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Chance to make a meaningful difference in women's lives

Compensation:

  • Contract position
  • Flexible hours based on candidate availability
  • Nurse practitioners are compensated on a per assessment basis, depending on complexity of patient.

To apply, please send your resume and complete the application in our Breezy external portal.
