Job Description:
Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) –Remote Canada

Position Overview

Are you a bilingual Nurse Practitioner looking to expand your practice on your own terms?

We are seeking passionate NPs to join our virtual care platform as independent contractors, delivering accessible, high-quality primary care to patients across New Brunswick. Through our secure telehealth platform, you'll connect with patients via phone, video, and secure messaging — from the comfort of your own home, on a schedule you control.

This is your opportunity to practice at the full scope of your NP license, make a meaningful impact on healthcare access in New Brunswick, and enjoy the freedom and flexibility that comes with independent practice — with the potential to earn up to $105/hour — all backed by a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Whether you're already licensed in New Brunswick or ready to expand your practice by obtaining NB licensure, we'd love to connect!

Why Join Us:

Clinical Autonomy — Practice at the full scope of your NP license with confidence and independence.

Flexible Scheduling — Build a schedule that fits your life. Work when you want, as much as you want.

Competitive Compensation — Earn up to $105/hour ($35 per consultation, avg. 3 consults/hour) as an independent contractor.

Meaningful Impact — Support unattached and underserved patients across New Brunswick who rely on virtual care for timely access to treatment.

Collaborative Environment — Work alongside experienced medical advisors and a supportive NP team — you'll never practice in isolation.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead comprehensive, patient-centered assessments and manage urgent and ongoing care needs — including follow-up care for unattached patients — with clinical confidence and precision.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, initiate referrals, and prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and your full scope of practice.
Champion the use of technology to support clinical documentation, care coordination, and patient outcomes across digital health platforms and electronic health records.
Collaborate with medical advisors and your NP colleagues, applying sound clinical judgment to escalate and coordinate care when needed — because great care is always a team effort.
Leverage virtual care tools effectively, navigating platforms with ease to ensure seamless, uninterrupted patient experiences.

Qualifications:

You bring clinical excellence: Minimum 1–3 years of NP practice experience, preferably in primary care or urgent care, with strong diagnostic reasoning and assessment skills.

You embrace virtual care: Previous telehealth or virtual care experience is a strong asset — and your comfort with digital tools sets you apart.

You hold the credentials: Master of Nursing (MN NP Program), clinical practice-focused.

You're licensed or ready to be: Licensed/registered with CNNB in good standing — or eligible and enthusiastic about obtaining licensure in New Brunswick. We support you through the process. Where applicable, you also maintain registration in your province of residence as required by your provincial regulatory body.

You're bilingual and proud of it: Full proficiency in English and French is required — your language skills are a powerful asset that directly improves health equity for French-speaking patients across New Brunswick.

You lead with purpose: You're passionate about improving healthcare access, detail-oriented, accountable, and committed to clinical excellence.

You thrive in collaboration: You bring strong organizational and time-management skills, communicate complex clinical information clearly, and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Optional certifications such as CNA telehealth/virtual care training are considered an asset.

Home Office Requirements:

To deliver the best virtual care experience, you'll need a comfortable, connected home setup:

Reliable high-speed internet connection.

Private, secure workspace to ensure patient confidentiality.

Computer or laptop capable of running multiple applications and virtual care platforms.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English and French is required, as the role will support and be assigned both English- and French-speaking patients.

Additional Information:

This is an independent contractor position.

Licensure in New Brunswick is required — if you're not yet licensed in NB, we encourage you to apply and we'll support you through the process.

This role may involve the use of approved artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making. Examples may include automated workflows, data-supported recommendations, drafting or summarization tools, or patient interaction tools as applicable to the role.

This opportunity represents an existing vacancy supporting current business operations.
