  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support and safety for clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate care.
  • Educate clients on coping mechanisms, stress management techniques, and mental health resources.
  • Stay informed about current best practices in counselling and mental health treatment through ongoing professional development.
  • Promote a safe, welcoming environment that encourages open communication and trust.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Valid licensure or certification as required by local regulations (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor).
  • Proven experience in providing mental health counselling or related support services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.

This role is vital in supporting individuals on their path to emotional resilience and well-being through compassionate care and expert guidance.
