As the Manager - Medical Device Reprocessing (MDRA), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting both individual and team development within the MDRA. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective framework for the operations of surgical reprocessing services in order to facilitate delivery of efficient, effective and safe patient care. You also will play a key role in developing and maintaining clear lines of communication with the Operating Room and other stakeholders throughout the Site.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Alberta Health Services currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of healthcare workers dedicated to providing leading care to Albertans living in Grande Prairie and the greater Northwest Corridor. You will be making key decisions and establishing and contributing to the achievements and goals of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital in the Northwest Corridor.

Required Qualifications:

Active registration with Canadian Standards Association (CSA). Three (3) years' experience in surgical processor role within the last five (5) years. The candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of recent, hands-on experience in an MDRA setting. Has a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive managerial or supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to manage human and financial resources.
