Job Profile: Occupational Health Registered Nurse (Casual)

Hines Health Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational RN to join our Fort McMurray clinic team. The role will be responsible for conducting occupational health testing including, Audiometric testing, Spirometry, Vision screening, Vital signs, and Drug and alcohol testing collections. Certification in audiometry, spirometry, and drug and alcohol testing would be a strong asset.

Location & Schedule:

• Must be able to work at HHS clinic location in Fort McMurray, AB.
• Full-time position, 8 hrs/day

Compensation: CA$45.00 - CA$60.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

· Conduct occupational health assessments and screening programs.

· Perform audiometric testing, spirometry, vision screening, and vital sign assessments.

· Collect and process drug and alcohol testing specimens in accordance with company policies and industry standards.

· Review medical questionnaires and occupational health documentation.

· Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using electronic medical record systems.

· Ensure testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and operated according to established protocols.

· Adhere to occupational health, privacy, infection prevention, and safety standards.

· Support clinic operations and quality assurance initiatives.

· Participate in on-site occupational health services as required.

Qualifications:

· Active and unrestricted registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).

· Minimum of three (3) years of occupational health nursing experience or equivalent relevant clinical experience.

· Experience conducting occupational health testing, including audiometry, spirometry, and drug and alcohol testing.

· Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) Diploma or Certificate is considered an asset.

· Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

· Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.

· Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

· Must be able to work at the HHS clinic location in Fort McMurray, AB.

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort McMurray, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• occupational health nursing : 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CRNA (required)
• audiometry certification (preferred)
• spirometry certification (preferred)
