The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) has 1 (one) exciting fixed-term opportunity up to March 31, 2028 within the Technology branch at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL).

Summary of responsibilities:
The Regional Advisor, Deployment Installations represents CATSA at airports within their region supporting equipment delivery, installation, and operation, in support of screening operations. The incumbent is responsible for working in partnership with the Regional Leader and Regional Advisors to support on-site equipment installations. This role requires extensive travel to CATSA airports located throughout the designated region. The Regional Advisor, Deployment Installations performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have:

Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in technology, engineering, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
-
A minimum of three (3) years of experience executing the deployment, delivery, and installation (in a commercial or industrial environment) of heavy and complex pieces of equipment.
-
Experience planning and overseeing a schedule and project tracking activities.
This position is best suited to individuals with the following skills and abilities:

Valuable skills include:

Knowledge of airport operations and the airline industry.

Experience in deployment related to aviation, security, or screening technology.

Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
Specific work requirements:

Ability to travel as required. -

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
