Responsibilities:

· Manage end-to-end recruitment, overseeing the entire hiring cycle and meeting the company’s goals.

· Preferred recruitment experiences of roles such as: Skilled trades (Drillers, technicians, Hydrovac Operators, fiber installers, etc), Project managers, site supervisors, Field operations, and support roles.

· Familiar with industry trends, including market and unemployment conditions.

· Build talent pipelines for ongoing and upcoming construction and telecom projects.

· Source candidates using job boards, trade associations, unions, referrals, social media, and industry networks.

· Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess skills, certifications, and field experience

· Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

· Verify licenses, certifications, and site-specific requirements (e.g., working at heights, safety training, driver’s license etc.).

· Support offer preparation, negotiation, and onboarding.

· Manage background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Energetic with excellent communication skills and positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of labour laws
