Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires strong administrative skills, familiarity with dental office procedures, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records and dental management software is highly preferred. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Tracker
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
  • Collect payments, process billing, and handle financial transactions at the front desk
  • Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Prepare treatment room schedules and assist in managing patient flow throughout the day

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting
  • Proficiency with dental management software Tracker
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Strong administrative experience including appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance verification, posting and AR.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
