Dental Receptionist / Certified Dental Assistant — New Abbotsford Clinic

Pay: CA$28.00–CA$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Up to full-time hours

Job Description

Would you like to be part of opening and growing a brand-new dental clinic? Are you someone who enjoys both patient care and front desk coordination, and wants the opportunity to make a real impact as a clinic grows?

We are looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist and a part-time Certified Dental Assistant to join our new clinic in Abbotsford, or a hybrid role for the right candidate.

This position is suited for someone who is flexible, proactive, and excited to help build a clinic from the ground up.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the clinic, take ownership, and potentially move into a leadership role as the team expands.

About the Role

As our Dental Receptionist, you will support both the administrative and clinical flow of the clinic.

At the front desk, you will assist with scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, claims, treatment coordination, recall, and general front office operations.

As a CDA, you will support chairside assisting, patient care, sterilization, operatory setup and turnover, clinical flow, and other day-to-day clinic needs.

Because this is a new clinic, you will also have the opportunity to help shape systems, workflows, patient experience, team culture, and daily operations as we grow.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, personable, and comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative duties.

This role would be a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is interested in growing into a leadership position over time.

Required

  • Certified Dental Assistant certification
  • Dental clinic experience
  • Dental reception experience
  • Comfortable supporting both front desk and CDA duties
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time

Assets

  • Interest in growing into a leadership or office management role

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to join a new clinic at the beginning and help shape its patient experience, systems, team culture, and daily flow.

We offer a supportive, collaborative environment with training, structure, and room to grow. For the right person, this role may develop into a leadership or office management position as the clinic expands.

Please email us your CV and cover letter. We look forward to meeting you.
