Full job description

Join Canada’s largest bank, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), where your work in Finance, Risk, and Corporate functions helps keep one of the country’s most trusted financial institutions strong, stable, and future-ready.

At RBC, these roles go far beyond traditional office work. You’re part of the decision-making backbone of the bank—helping manage billions in financial activity, protecting clients, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategies that drive long-term growth. Every analysis you complete, every risk you flag, and every report you prepare contributes to how safely and effectively the bank operates across Canada and beyond.

In your day-to-day work, you may find yourself analyzing financial performance, tracking budgets, and supporting leaders with clear, data-driven insights that shape business decisions. In Risk roles, you’ll help identify potential financial or operational risks, monitor transactions for unusual activity, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to models that test the bank’s resilience under different scenarios. In Corporate and Business Support roles, you’ll assist with strategic projects, improve internal processes, support HR or finance teams, and help ensure smooth coordination across departments.

These roles are structured, detail-focused, and built on accuracy and accountability. Success comes from your ability to think critically, work confidently with data, and communicate insights clearly in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.

RBC looks for people who are analytical, reliable, and comfortable working with financial systems and tools like Excel or reporting platforms. A background in finance, business, economics, or a related field is often preferred, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to stay precise under pressure. For Risk-focused positions, familiarity with compliance, AML principles, or regulatory frameworks is a strong advantage.
