This position will assist research teams in a number of research related duties including participant recruitment, maintaining participant records and regulatory documents, database support and data management, medical chart data extraction and supporting data analysis. Other responsibilities include electronic data collection, documentation, and management. This position will also support across clinical research operations through the collection of data and metrics, as required. This role requires high level of adaptability and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks. The candidate may also be required to assist with other administrative duties as necessary. This role requires a well-organized, highly energetic and motivated individual who will work closely with team members across the organization, as well as people with lived and living experience with substance use and mental health challenges. The individual will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable CAMH policies, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West and may require occasional work at other sites.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, neuroscience or related degree combined with a minimum of 1-year of relevant research or clinical experience.

Knowledge of ethical conduct of research in human participants, including ICH-GCP guidelines, and TCPS2 is required

Prior research or service experience, including direct interaction with individuals and/or families with mental health and/or addictions is necessary.

Proficiency in PC software skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet Search engines (e.g., PsychInfo, Medline), survey software (e.g., RedCap), and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R), as well as the ability to learn new programs as necessary, is essential.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication (oral/written) and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

The candidate will be detail-oriented, possess analytical thinking skills, and be able to exercise initiative and good judgment.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and produce high-quality, accurate work while meeting program deadlines.

Previous experience supporting systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses as well as assisting in the drafting of manuscripts is considered an asset.

Ability to liaise across an interprofessional team is necessary

Candidate requires the ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Salary Range: $27.95 - $37.28 per hour
