Reporting to the Vice President, Operations of Wesgroup Equipment, this position oversees and grows the operations of the Westerra Equipment branch in Edmonton. You will work closely with the local team to manage performance, support customer experience, and drive profitable revenue growth across service, parts, rentals, and sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all branch operations (service, parts, rentals, and sales) to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead and manage the branch sales team, driving performance, accountability, customer growth, and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across all departments through effective hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Champion a customer-first culture by delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences across all departments.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to grow business relationships.
  • Accountable for branch financial performance including revenue, margin, and cost control.
  • Drive team productivity to meet or exceed key performance metrics.
  • Manage asset utilization and inventory efficiency across rentals and parts to optimize profitability.
  • Partner with HR to maintain effective people practices, training programs, and workforce planning.
  • Model and reinforce company values and ways of working.
  • Build bench strength through succession planning and long-term talent development.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of delivering results.
  • Solid understanding of business financials and performance drivers.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Training, Education & Experience

  • Experience in a Service Manager, Operations Manager, or Branch Manager role.
  • University degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience in sales performance, revenue generation, or customer growth is an asset.

Working Conditions:

The Branch Manager is based out of the Edmonton office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday. Some travel to local branches and to the US may be required.
